Microsoft is working on a redesigned Task Manager app for Windows 11
Today's Windows 11 preview build has revealed that Microsoft is working on a redesigned Job Manager app with a modern interface that matches the rest of the Windows 11 UI. It'due south subconscious in build 22538 which rolled out to the Insider Program a few hours ago, and is notwithstanding rather incomplete.
This early on build of the new Chore Manager app does give us a pretty practiced idea around what the new Task Director is going to look like. Just like other Windows 11 apps, it appears to feature WinUI blueprint components, including Mica blur effects. The old tabbed interface forth the top has been replaced by a sidebar downwards the left-hand side of the app.
Exterior of the new UI, this updated Task Director app isn't fully functional yet. The overview statistics forth the top are dummy UI, though the other tabs still show live info, albeit with the older Task Manager elements simply pasted on top of the new interface.
It'southward great to meet that Microsoft is continuing its parade of updating legacy areas of the Windows OS with modern Windows xi centric designs. Right now, Microsoft is currently testing a new Notepad and Music Role player app with similar designs. Last year, Microsoft shipped Windows eleven with a new Paint app with the same updated design treatment too.
Once again, this new Task Managing director app is subconscious in the latest Insider build. It's non intended to exist used merely even so, hence why information technology'southward in such an unfinished state and not yet officially announced by Microsoft. What are your thoughts on the new Chore Director app for Windows xi?
Shooty bang bang
Where are all the guns in Dying Light two?
Information technology's by blueprint, sure, but there's a singled-out lack of firearms in Dying Light 2. For meliorate or worse, modern medieval Villedor is a place to build your own weapons. Just what happened to the guns and ammo and might information technology e'er make a comeback?
